In 1985, Brualdi and Hoffman posed the problem of finding the maximal index of graphs with a prescribed number of edges and Rowlinson solved the above problem in 1988. In this talk, we consider the version of signed graphs for Brualdi and Hoffman’s problem and determine the maximal index among unbalanced signed graphs with a prescribed number of edges.
主讲人介绍：
侯耀平，湖南师范大学数学与统计球友会博士生导师。北京师范大学基础数学专业博士，中国科学技术大学博士后。长期从事代数学和组合数学的教学与研究，主要研究领域为代数图论及其应用。已主持完成国家自然科学基金面上项目和湖南省自然科学等基金项目多项，完成的科研成果获得2010年度湖南省自然科学奖二等奖。
